Во время школьной экскурсии похищены дети самых богатых и влиятельных людей мира, в том числе, сын президента США, дети послов, банкиров, оружейных и фармацевтических магнатов. А потому, что только так можно заставить их родителей выполнять очень странные и опасные задания, одно из которых, например, чуть не привело к войне с Китаем. Детей держат в уединенном особнячке и иногда отпускают по одному, если их родители выполняют задания, а если нет ...
"Ищут пожарные, ищет милиция..." - на поиски брошены и армия, и полиция, и все возможные спецслужбы. Но оказывается, не все спецслужбы хорошие и у ЦРУ есть некая страшная тайна, которую они всячески пытаются скрыть, а доблестные агенты ФБР вместе с агентом из охраны президента постепенно раскапывают все больше жутких подробностей. Драйва добавляют и родители, которые совсем не собираются сотрудничать с ФБР, а предпочитают втихую сделать все, что от них требуют похитители, прекрасно понимая, что в лучшем случае окажутся в тюрьме, а в худшем и вовсе погибнут.
Напряженно, динамично и несмотря на огромное количество ляпов и несуразностей, смотреть интересно. Очень богатая фантазия у главаря похитителей и очень сильная жажда мести. Все ходы спецслужб он предусмотрел и постоянно на два шага впереди.
Финал - чисто американский, зло все-таки наказано, но финальная смс-ка ставит не точку, а многоточие...
